Together we will explore clay for those new to clay and refreshers for those who are returning to ceramics.  This class is flexible and will cater to the individual needs.  We will go over the basics on the wheel and the fundaments for hand building.  By the end of the class, you will leave confident in whichever direction you choose to go on your ceramic adventures!
For beginners and Seasoned Beginner
What to bring: Towel and/or apron.  Tupperware.

Directions: Spartanburg Art Museum is located on the campus of the Chapman Cultural Center at 200 E Saint John Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina, 29306. The Museum is on the first floor of the West Wing (Carlos Dupre Moseley Building) near Liberty Street.

cancellation policy

If we do not meet minimum registration, class will be cancelled and students will be given a full refund. If registration occurred through our website, refunds will be issued through PayPal minus a small PayPal administration fee. Otherwise, a check will be mailed to you in approximately two weeks.

​If a student has to withdraw from a class five or more working days before the class is scheduled to begin, a refund will be issued minus a SAM $20 administrative fee. If a student withdraws from a class five working days or less before a class is scheduled to begin, the class fee will not be refunded.
