The 1907 Society theme is based on the date of the Spartanburg Art Museum’s first acquisition, “The Girl with the Red Hair” by artist Robert Henri in 1907 (pictured left).
The 1907 Society is our annual membership program for donors and sponsors. Individual donations are essential for our museum to continue providing diverse exhibitions, art classes, free arts outreach, and free admission to the community.
Last year, SAM raised over $90,000 dollars in individual donations from our 1907 Society campaign alone.
