Kat Martin is a mixed media artist and educator based in Columbia, SC. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in art education from the University of South Carolina. In 2023, she was awarded the Ethel S. Brody scholarship and was funded to attend the Penland School of Craft, where she extended her artistic practice to papermaking. She now primarily uses handmade paper, printmaking and collage to explore themes of introspection, connection and healing. Kat loves to host workshops that are opportunities for creative experimentation and expression.
