In this workshop students will be creating a Kuboo Basket made from wildcrafted Carolina Kudzu and Bamboo. Aaron McCarty, Co-Owner of Carolina Bamboo, does all of the material harvesting and preparation by hand using traditional Japanese techniques.
This is an introductory class. Students can expect to walk away with a Kuboo basket that will hold six eggs with a simple bamboo handle. Students must bring a willingness to cultivate discipline, determination, dedication, diligence, and patience.
