Getting in those daily steps is a breeze when you wear these socks! The ribbed design and cushioned soles are the perfect combo of comfort and style. The foot is black, with artwork printed along the leg with crisp, bold colors that won't fade.
August Cook, along with his wife Irma Howard Cook, were prominent Spartanburg artists. In addition to founding Converse College's art department, where he taught and served as dean for many years, August was active in the studio. Spartanburg Art Museum is honored to have a number of the Cooks' drawings, paintings, sketchbooks, and woodcuts. This woodcut by August Cook, "The Mouse", exhibits astonishing detail for its small size of 3" x 4.5".
