J. MICHAEL JOHNSON was born and raised in East Tennessee and has lived in the southeastern United States all of his life. He began shooting images and working in the darkroom over thirty years ago. Since that time, he has traveled extensively across the United States and the world. Drawn to many different subjects, he has a special affinity for motorcycle culture, the images of which he frequently contributes to “Easyriders”, “Biker” and “In The Wind” magazines. Johnson is currently a member of SAM’s Board of Directors.
